A letter sent from Harry Haskamp to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fischer and their son, Louis, at Jervis Inlet. He refers to logging, that he leaves for New York City in a few days and will be spending the Easter holidays with Ihrma and mentions the marriage of Gilbert. This is likely Gilbert Lee. They were all in the Pender Harbour, B.C. area.
The letter is written on Canadian National Railways hotel letterhead and is enclosed in a Chateau Laurier envelope, postmarked Montreal and has a three cent stamp. On the reverse of the envelope is a picture of Ottawa, Ontario with the Dominion Parliament Buildings, Chateau Laurier and the Grand Trunk Central Station.
